Aid Supply

Vitaly Rozman, founder of AidSupply, was referred to me by one person working at Help Ukraine Center after telling him that we were developing a system for them. After a in-person meeting it became apparent, AidSupply is our solution many steps ahead. Se we decided to partner up, and have worked very closely with them since.

To give a better insight into what AidSupply is capable of, heres a quick introduction:

The AidSupply cycle visualized (WIP)

AidSupply makes the delivery of goods to where they are needed incredibly efficient. It cuts out language barriers, uses an API to connect existing inventory management programs and updates stock in real time, creates a shared inventory across many different locations and allows donations to be forwarded to manufacturers inside Ukraine which also strengthens the economy. But that’s just a drop in the bucket. To read more about AidSupply visit their website at aidsupply.in.ua.

It also cuts out any possibility of fraud or corruption interfering with the humanitarian efforts. Sadly, thousands of tons of aid have found their way into the wrong hands, where they were sold or stolen, instead of delivered to those in need. A system like this provides both patrons and beneficiaries with the extra layer of security

One of the main tasks in this case was to identify possible collaborators. That includes organisations that have warehouses, so we can enter their stock into the system and have it distributed to the beneficiaries which are listed in AidSupply. Identifying the need for better procurement options for the Ukrainian government and non-governmental organisations, and setting up meetings to discuss the possibility of working together.

We have managed to contribute to their success in receiving grants by referring them to TechSoup, which gives access to a $10.000 monthly advertising budget and access to free software.

We’re always looking for developers and people involved in tech that we can refer and have contribute to finally having a solution to the fractured landscape of aid distribution.

But most importantly is the in-person onboarding process of organisations, which we take upon ourselves. That process basically consists of the identification of eligible organisations or institutions and initiating contact. We guide them through the processes, answer any questions and see if AidSupply would be a good fit for them. If yes, we onboard them.

We will continue to support Vitaly and AidSupply until the war is over and beyond, because we believe that it is the best solution, which until this point is unprecedented.
